Today on our 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 we're going to be taking a look at, I'm going to show you how to install the PTC Custom Fit Cabin Air Filter. Now if you'll notice the difference between our old one and our new one, you want to change these, I would say check them every six months. You want to change them at least once a year. This is going to allow your air to flow into the vehicle pretty well. It's going to keep any of that dirt, debris, anything like that from coming in and having you breathe it yourself, so it's going to make your air a lot cleaner inside the vehicle.To start our installation, on our passenger side we're going to open both glove boxes. We're going to have four star bits we need to remove, or Torx bits. more

PTC Custom Fit Cabin Air Filter Installation - 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video

Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 we're going to be installing PTC's custom fit cabin air filter. For comparison, here's our old dirty filter sitting right next to our nice new clean filter. The cabin filter takes all the air that you're pulling in from outside the vehicle inside for your HVAC system and filters out all the dirt and debris. This keeps all the pollen particles and smells, and everything else from the outside from getting into the cabin, ensuring that you have a nice, clean, free air to breathe. This can relate to lowering your allergy levels and just an overall more pleasant driving experience.We'll begin our installation here on our passenger side by opening up both of our glove boxes.
